Whether it’s from the geography or the vast history, there’s a lot of diversity in location.  Pennsylvania can vary greatly from county to county and even from city to city. For example, if you’re looking for a more remote area you can move further up north where it’s less populated. For that city feel, you can move to major cities such as Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. If you want something in between, you can choose suburban towns and still even get something in between. What’s nice is that there’s a little something for everyone here, but of course, that does come with other considerations as well. You must research specific areas because there can be huge differences when it comes to things like traffic, safety, socioeconomic factors, and even cultural factors.

#3: cost of living

Pennsylvania is in the top 5 most populated states and the cost of living is just slightly below average. That paired with the availability of healthcare and education resources makes it a good place to work and reside. On the flip side, this can be higher depending on where you live. Pennsylvania is known to have high property taxes in many areas, for example. Another thing to keep in mind is that it does also have state income tax  as well as sales tax. However, there can be some huge perks. For instance, retirees as well as military service members and veterans can tax perks which makes it a highly ranked place to live.

From outdoor activities - ranging from going to lakes, mountains, parks, goat yoga  Pennsylvania has it all. The only thing it doesn’t have is an ocean so most people go to New Jersey for that! If you are into the outdoors, this is a great place for you. If not, there’s always Sports teams you can become a fan of, from football to basketball - sports are a big deal here.
