Here’s what you’ll learn from this video:

  • Shorter and longer closing times
  • Conditions that can impact closing times
  • One important detail that shouldn’t be missed when it comes to the closing date

CLOSING TIMES

If you’re looking to buy or sell a home in Pennsylvania, the closing time is a critical time to get everything sorted before the transaction is final. So how long does closing typically take? A typical closing can range anywhere from 30-90 days. 30 is pretty quick, so that’s typically a shorter closing time.

THE CLOSING DATE

The main thing to note is that the closing date has to be documented on the signed agreement of sale. Now, closing time can be determined by a number of factors including buyer or seller preference, terms of the mortgage, any contingencies, etc. Make sure whether you are buying or selling you are aware of the closing date and are accurately tracking it to close on time.
